Stop Whining and Start Working!

The past few years have been anything but enjoyable financially for many in this Country, all of us together have suffered significantly. But what good does it do to complain? So what that you have to work twice as hard to make the same paycheck you did 5 years ago. When the times were good what did you do with all that money? Did you spend it and throw it away on things that didn't increase in value like most of us did? We all knew the bubble was going to burst at some time didn't we? I mean if you did just a little history investigation you would see that this stuff happens in cycles and that we will recover just fine and move on. I believe Japan was in the worst recessions ever not too long ago and our biggest investor (China) was starving because they couldn't produce enough food to feed all their people. My point is simple, What good does it do to make a huge issue of being broke? Absolutely none! maybe if we spent as much time producing as we did complaining we could actually have a thriving economy where everyone gets a big huge raise because we are making the places we work for money! What a concept right? But no we would rather get mad and jealous that Bob is now the Foreman and Tommy is not, because of whatever reason you decide. More than likely Tommy is probably a great guy but would cost the company more as a boss because he would let you slack off twice as much and that's why you like him As a former business owner I can tell you that it is a fact! Employers throughout are being taken advantage of immensely. Yes in some cases employers take advantage of hard times but if you really just complain about it it's not going to change, if you really want things to change communicate with your employers and come to an agreement or just go somewhere else. If they really are that bad they will either go out of business or they will eventually adapt and change, simple as that and problem solved.

Fortunately I get paid by production and volume bonus now. So the work I put into this business pays me back and keeps growing. So if I am slacking off I'm simply hurting myself. In Construction we used to do a lot of piece work and we made a bunch of money because we could seriously frame some houses quickly and efficiently by replicating the same process over and over. The same thing goes in this business our team has a proven business model, I follow it, I replicate it over and over and it continues to produce a steady income. The great thing about this is that after I reach a certain level I can spend less time and make a heck of a lot more money helping others. Which is the way it should be done if you ask me, I'm the boss or the leader, I teach a system, you follow it and you create another set of leaders it's a gigantic corporate leadership and everyone is sharing on the profits of one another s hard work. The true meaning of Teamwork and that's the glue that keeps us together if we just follow the process.
