Introduction
Beach body LLC was created in 1998 by Carl Deikler and Jon Cangdon and is based out of Beverly Hills, California. The company started business under the name Product Partners, until it became Beach Body LLC in December of 2010. Company revenue for last year topped out at an amazing 82.7 million dollars and an increase of at least 10 percent for the upcoming yearly report is projected. Our company produces and sells such products as; P90X, Brazil Butt lift, Insanity and Insanity Asylum as well as Turbo fire. In addition to workout videos, our company supplies weight loss supplements like the nutrient rich Shakeology as well as P90X nutrition bars, P90X recovery formula and many other tasty and powerful nutritional products that have helped thousands reach their fitness goals. Our company also provides many types of work out equipment such as; yoga mats, resistance bands, dumbells and pull up bars. Our unique apparel line also helps us to promote our company and, “Get the word out” about our superior products. We currently employ 154 people all over the country and are going international very soon. In addition we also have over 65,000 “coaches” who sell our products as they become fit themselves, Who else but the peoples with whose life you have transformed, to promote, and also sell your products. Project:
This project has been directly proposed by the President of the United States. On February 9th 2010 President Obama and his Wife Michelle Obama announced they were creating a federal task force to combat Childhood obesity. The federal government has asked companies in the private sector as well as “not for profit” organizations to provide “optimal coordination” to fight the growing problem of Childhood obesity. The Federal government is looking for companies that can provide education and forward thinking products to fight obesity in Children. Prospective candidates will have a proven history of combating obesity and also have tested methods on weight loss. Additionally prospects should be able to provide lasting results and education for maintaining fitness and proper diet solutions to a variety of body types and ages.
Proposal:
As a Beach body Coach I will provide unrelenting motivation, support and dedication it takes to get people off of the couch and into a fitness routine that is to their liking. I have researched all of the different types of workouts that Beach Body LLC produces, I have gained thorough knowledge so that I can quickly and efficiently assist people with the workout that they will enjoy doing, asking them questions that are specific to their individual needs and goals for their bodies. As they progress in making their fitness goals I will challenge them and push them to go for even further than they have ever thought was possible to enhance what the instructors are already doing for them. By doing this they will gain self-confidence and peak health benefits that can reverse the damage that was done to their body while overweight or obese.
Once physical fitness is achieved, I will introduce them to the benefits of being an Independent Beach Body Coach by having them share their “story” as to how they achieved this success with others. I would show them how to set up their own “fit clubs” which they would hold at no charge, expanding the participation in their communities, Also while having products on display for them to sell retail gaining commissions of at least 25% per item sold or average of thirty dollars for most popular work outs. Because they have completed the work outs and having noticeable results to show everyone, the products will have a strong foundation of believability therefore getting noticed per each “fit club” held. Furthermore the “word of mouth” that would be passed along from person to person will be phenomenal and help this individuals business to continue growth. Allowing him or her to gain financial health as well by being able to pay off debts, increasing income to help others along the way as I did for him, therefore creating a “pay it forward approach” fulfilling a lot of the needs that many people do not get a chance to experience in their everyday occupations.

This was a direct article released by the White House Press Secretary on the upcoming proposal for which I am directly involved. It describes the problem of Childhood obesity and the call directly from our President and the First Lady for businesses such as Beach Body to help fight. It lays out descriptions of funding as to where and how much is budgeted to combat this problem. In addition it describes various government agencies and their role to assist in the success of the Task Force.

I obtained this article to try and gain in depths look into what the First Lady was looking to do with the “Let’s Move” task force and perhaps find some additional needs that the President and First Lady thought were necessary but did not include in the original press release. I felt that on a different platform I may gain a different perspective. I found that both the articles had similar information but gained information of how the Obama’s understand that it is difficult with busy parent’s and budget cuts in schools for some children to enjoy extra-curricular activities or even have a PE class. This added information can help me develop a better game plan for their project directive.
